EFCA recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary at a gala event in Brussels on 16 November 2022 which was attended by ACEI President, Brian Kavanagh and Secretary General, Sarah Ingle. Another special guest on the night was Kevin Rudden, past-president of ACEI 2015 - 2016 and EFCA past-president 2017 - 2020.

Sincere tributes were also paid to recently retired EFCA Secretary General Jan Van der Putten, who was 30 years in the role. Jan was presented with gifts of appreciation from all in EFCA by the EFCA President Benoît Clocheret.

On its 30th Anniversary, EFCA, marks its contribution to the EU transition to a resilient, green and digital built environment EFCA by launching its manifesto, Delivering a resilient, green and digital built environment: Manifesto from European Engineering Consultancies for 2030 and beyond, in line with the European Green Deal it sets out the scenarios for a transition pathway for a resilient, greener and more digital construction ecosystem


EFCA has member associations in 28 countries and is the sole European federation representing the business interests of professional engineering consultancy and related services, a sector that employs around one million staff in Europe.
