To make it easier for ESB customers to do business with them, ESB Networks launched New Connection Online in February of this year.

At this stage 50% of ESB customers are applying online and ESB want to grow this.   To register simply go to the ESB website www.esbnetworks.ie/new-connections 

 

OnlineApplication Forms include:

• Domestic New Connection
• Domestic Reconnection
• Commercial New Connection/Reconnection <100 kva="" span="">
• Domestic Change of Capacity
• Commercial New Connection/Reconnection >=100 KVA
• Commercial Change of Capacity
• Multi- Unit

Right now, Domestic and small Commercial Customers <= 100kVA can also track the progress of their application through to connection and receive regular status updates by email.  Our plan is to extend this facility to our larger customers next year.  Other benefits include:

 

• Maps can be uploaded safely and securely
• Applications can be saved and returned to later.
• The  Connection Capacity section of the form can be downloaded/uploaded
• Actions i.e. Wiring Cert, Supplier Registration and Duct can be viewed
• Ducting can be updated by the customer within the portal
• 24 hour access
