The Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport (DTTS) recently advised that the updates to Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual and the Temporary Traffic Management Document Guidelines are near complete and have been submitted to DTTAS for approval and publication.  A  letter detailing these can be found here.

Following the publication of Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual and the Temporary Traffic Management Document Guidelines, a number of information seminars will be held by DTTAS and TII on the changes to the documents and the impacts.  These seminars will be presented by the Temporary Traffic Management Project Team and it is expected they will take place at a number of regional centres from April to September 2019.  Dates and venues for the seminars will be advised in due course and will be open to all Stakeholders.
