The Work Placement Experience Programme is a new and innovative offering from the Department of Social Protection being delivered as part of the economic recovery plan and a central element of the new Pathways to Work Strategy.  A particular objective of the new scheme is to provide a mechanism for those with recent work experience, or with sector specific skills, to pivot into new roles or sectors through additional learning with new and relevant work experience.
