Jim Oliver < back to executive board

Jim Oliver holds an Honours degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager (C.WEM) and a Fellow of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland (FConsEI).

Jim has over 30 years’ experience in the design and supervision of major water supply projects both in Ireland and abroad. He has been at Nicholas O’Dwyer Consulting Engineers since 1993, progressing from a graduate engineer to Managing Director. He has filled the role of Managing Director since 2020, guiding the company’s growth since it joined RSK. Working with the executive team at NOD the company has grown to over 300 people with particular expansion into the renewables, environment and planning, water, civil and structural and contract advisory sectors in Ireland, the UK, middle east and sub-Saharan Africa.
