John Hayes < back to executive board

John Hayes, BScEng, CEng, FConsEI, MIEI, is a Chartered Engineer, a fellow of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland (FConsEI) and  is also an active member of the ACEI Structures Committee. A Director of DBFL Consulting Engineers, John has over 37 years’ experience in the provision of Civil & Structural engineering on a wide range of large-scale commercial, educational, institutional and residential projects both in Ireland and the UK.  Having built his early engineering career in the UK, John joined DBFL in 1998, progressing to Associate in 2000 and Director in 2004. He leads the organisation’s structural division as a key member of the top management team.

With an extensive working knowledge of all forms of construction, coupled with an acute awareness of cost efficiencies at all stages of a project, John brings a well-rounded understanding of the complexities which can exist on a wide range of projects.
