Richard O'Farrell, BEng, MCIBSE, brings over 20 years of experience in both contracting and consultancy environments. As the founder and Managing Director of EDC Engineering Design Consultants, Richard has driven the company's significant expansion. Under his leadership, EDC now operates in 3 countries across six offices and employs 100 staff members, executing projects across diverse sectors such as pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial, and residential, with projects spanning Ireland, the UK and Africa.

A Bachelor of Engineering graduate in Electrical Engineering, Richard has continuously honed his expertise by directing EDC's activities in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Turkey. His strategic vision and leadership have been pivotal in managing a wide array of projects in electrical and mechanical engineering services, catering to a broad spectrum of clients.
