Sinéad Timoney

Sinéad is a Fellow of the Association of Consulting Engineers (FConEI) and a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland. She is an honours Civil Engineering graduate of University College Dublin and has over 19 years civil engineering experience and has worked in Ireland, the UK and Middle East on linear infrastructure, waste management and renewable energy projects. In 2020, Sinéad was appointed the Chief Operations Officer and Managing Director of Fehily Timoney and Company. She successfully leads all operational areas of the business and is also responsible for leading the management team compromising the core technical departments of Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy and Environment, and Energy and Planning.

 

In addition to fulfilling the role of Chief Operations Officer, Sinéad is the Director responsible for the monitoring and implementation of the in-house design and occupational health and safety procedures and the company’s adherence to the requirements of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 on all FT projects.  She has in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in the application of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Legislation, primarily in the Construction Industry and most recently in the Utilities Sector. In 2022, Sinéad completed a Higher Diploma (level 8) in Health, Safety and Welfare at Work with University College Cork and received a First Class Honours.
