This project focused on maximising energy recovery and generation with a large roof solar array, making it a highly sustainable building of its type. While the PV system delivers 25% of the building energy needs, energy recovery from refrigeration, LED lighting and rooflights, together with rainwater recovery all support a truly sustainable facility.
