Congratulations to the 2024 awardee, Chris Behan, (BSc Eng (Hons), CEng)

Chris is a Chartered Engineer and Associate at Arup and specialises in mission critical data centre projects. Chris joined Arup in 2010 after graduating with an Honours Degree in Building Services Engineering and currently specialises in the design of DATA Centres for his clients.  In his roles as Multidisciplinary Design Manager and Mechanical Team Lead, he is responsible for managing large teams and efficiently guiding projects from inception and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover. Leveraging his diverse experience across a range of sectors and regions, he consistently delivers high-quality solutions for complex buildings. Chris champions sustainability, particularly in relation to water, energy and carbon and drives positive change in the energy-intensive technology sector.
