The quarterly newsletter from the National Building Control Office has just been published.  Since their last Newsletter NBCO have continued their Inspections Programme supporting the Building Control Authorities across the country.  In page 4 of the Newsletter details are provided of their drone “Big Sister Project” which in the near future is expected to feature an added Virtual Reality.  

This Newsletter focuses on Part D of the Building Regulations i.e. all works must be carried out with construction materials which are fit for their purpose and in a workmanlike manner.  If you have any queries about Part D or your buildings talk to your local building control office or contact the NBCO support@nbco.gov.ie.

 

In 2020 NBCO received a grant from the DPER Innovation Fund to create an Open Data Portal where all building control data in Ireland is now located.
