On 24 May, the EFCA Future Leaders Network convenes for its annual Future Leaders Day at the IXEC Headquarters in Madrid. This event serves as a dynamic platform for industry experts, innovators, and future leaders to engage in insightful discussions on the urgent issue of sustainability from various angles. From analysing Spain's sustainability landscape to tackling material overuse across Europe, the Future Leaders Day will be exploring diverse perspectives. Moreover, participants will delve into the realm of technology and innovation, specifically focusing on the potential of AI and BIM in Spain. Can technology impact construction safety culture?

This afternoon, EFCA's Director General, Sue Arundale will take part in a panel discussion as part of a webinar hosted by KHL & Intelex on exploring the various ways digital technology can improve construction’s safety record.

The construction industry has long been associated with hazardous working conditions, but a recent surge in fatalities has sparked calls for immediate action. The debate will be centred around delving into the impacts of technology on areas such as:

  • Safety training and education
  • Utilising AI to reduce risk

EFCA President to speak at FIEC-EIC SPRING CONFERENCE

On May 17, EFCA President Inés Ferguson will speak at the FIECE-EIC Spring Conference in Brussels.
