Paschal Donohoe, Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform and Patrick O’Donovan, Minister of State at the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform with special responsibility for public procurement, open government and eGovernment, today launched the updated public procurement guidelines and templates.  A regional launch will be held in Limerick, on Tuesday 11th July.

The publication of the guidelines and templates follow the transposition of the new EU Directives on public procurement into Irish law and usher in important changes on how public procurement will be conducted across Europe in future years. They are intended to service as a toolkit for practitioners, and a general reference document for suppliers. They replace previously issued guidelines and templates in respect of goods and services.
